Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information I collect when you visit Veran Finance, how I use it, and the choices you have. By using this site, you agree to the practices described here.

Who operates this site

Veran Finance is operated by me, Manel Vadillo, an individual resident of Andorra. You can reach me at contact@veranfinance.com or through the contact page for any question about this policy or your information.

Information I collect

You don't need an account to read this site. I may collect:

• Log data automatically collected by my hosting provider, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited.
• Information you provide directly, such as your email address if you contact me.
• Information collected through advertising cookies, once advertising is active on this site, as described below.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the pages (for example which articles are read and which calculators are used). Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and the pages you view. The data is used in aggregate and I don't use it to identify you. Google explains its handling in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-onor by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

When you first visit, a cookie banner asks you to accept or reject analytics and advertising cookies. Under Google Consent Mode, visitors in the EU/EEA, the UK, Switzerland and Andorra start with these cookies off until they accept; if you reject, Google tags don't set analytics or advertising cookies on your device. Your choice is stored in your browser (local storage) and you can change it at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Cookies and advertising

This site does not currently run any advertising. Once I'm approved for Google AdSense, this site will display ads served by Google and its advertising partners, and those networks will use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Google explains how it uses this data in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. When that happens, you'll be able to opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ads Settings or aboutads.info, and I'll update this section to reflect what's actually running. You can also block or delete cookies generally through your browser settings at any time.

Accessing or deleting your information

Wherever you live, you can ask me what personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. The only personal information I hold directly is what you send me by email; server logs are kept by my hosting provider. Email contact@veranfinance.com or use the contact page, and say what you're asking for.

Your California privacy rights (CCPA)

If you're a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the right to know what personal information I've collected about you, the right to delete it, the right to correct inaccurate information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (including via a browser-based Global Privacy Control signal), the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights, per the California Attorney General's CCPA guidance.

I don't sell your personal information. Once advertising is active on this site, the cookie-based ad targeting described above may count as "sharing" under the CCPA's definition of cross-context behavioral advertising, and the opt-out links in that section apply here too. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@veranfinance.com.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Data security

I take reasonable measures to protect the information I collect, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and I can't guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, in particular once advertising is actually active on this site. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent changes.
